At The Kargha Story, we ensure thorough quality checks for each of our products before they are shipped to our customers. Given the inherent nature of our products, we reserve the right and sole discretion to provide an exchange or replacement on any order on a case-to-case basis.

When contemplating an exchange or replacement, please take some time to understand how our products are manufactured. All our products are handwoven by traditional and experienced weavers at their homes in towns and villages across the country. These products are handwoven one piece at a time resulting in any two pieces of the same product having a slight variation in weave, colour and structure. These are not to be considered defects, but rather as uniqueness of the product. It is commonly said - "beauty of handmade lies in their imperfections."

Your purchase would be considered for exchange or replacement only in the following cases:
 

• If the product you have received has a genuine quality or visible manufacturing defect

• If the product delivered was incorrect, i.e. the product does not match the description as mentioned in the Order Confirmation at the time of placing the order
   

If your purchase meets our exchange criteria as mentioned above, please email us at thekarghastory@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with the following details:

 

• Order number

• Specific reason for issuing an exchange request along with an image of the item that you have received

 

Once the product defect has been evaluated and confirmed by us, you will be provided with a replacement or exchange within 10-14 working days after the product is picked up from the address provided at the time of placing your order.

If we are unable to provide you with a replacement against your ordered product, we shall notify you on the same within 48 hours of receiving your exchange or replacement request. In this case, you may either choose another product from our collection or we can provide you with a credit note equivalent to your order value with a validity of 90 days from the date of receipt of your exchange request.
